The Dyfed Closed Championship was held over the weekend of Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November in the hospitable setting of the Emlyn Cafe, Tanygroes. Five Aber players took part, and the winner was Rudy Van Kemenade with the convincing score of 5/5. Julie Van Kemenade was second with 3.5/5. I finished in a five-way tie for third, with 3/5, Tony Geraghty scored 2/5 and Ian Finlay 1.5/5. The grading prize was won by Jan Sendall of Haverfordwest with 2.5/5. Here is a notable win by Julie:
